CEO & Founder Brianne West started Ethique in her kitchen in 2012, experimenting with solid shampoo bars. Fast forward to today, and we offer over 100 products in our range.

Our mission is to revolutionize the cosmetics industry and regenerate our planet through business. Eliminating single-use plastic bottles is just one part of our mission.

As of 2021, we have saved over 20+ million single-use plastic bottles from being made or disposed of in landfills worldwide, saved over 3 million gallons of water from being wasted, and planted over 350,000 trees. And this is just the beginning!

Product Description Focus on Sustainability

Small changes in product size and weight lead to lower carbon emissions. We created Compact by Design to identify products that, while they may not always look different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.

Clarifying Shampoo Bar: Our most clarifying shampoo is perfect for oily scalps, and for those who want a deep cleanse. Lift away impurities with the help of lime and orange essential oils, and gentle surfactants. Great lather!

Nourishing Ingredients: Castor oil is remarkable at dissolving oils and sebum while glycerine moisturizes hair without any heavy oils to weigh hair down.

Save Money & the Planet: Each shampoo bar lasts at least 80 washes, equivalent to three bottles of liquid shampoo. To use, stroke the bar down wet hair – it will lather!

Plastic Free: This bar has recyclable, home-compostable packaging. Simply tear up the box and pop it in your compost bin or bury it in your garden to return nutrients to the soil.

Ethical & Sustainable Ingredients: Formulated using vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil-free, paraben-free, and renewable ingredients, sourced from sustainable producers paid a fair wage.
